About Kos

Kos is part of the Dodecanese Islands and is a jewel of the Aegean Sea. As well as beautiful beaches, sparkling seas and stunning mountain villages, Kos has a wealth of historic cultural centres and family activities.

There are so many things to do in Kos. In Kos Town you can visit the Tree of Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine. The Agora has ruins, arches and columns and was one of the largest in Ancient Greece.

The Asclepion Temple of Healing which dates from around 400 BC lies 4 kilometres from Kos Town and was a religious centre as well as a fully functioning medical school. It is a haven of peace and tranquility.

Holidays here are fantastic no matter what time of year. You will find direct flights throughout the summer or why not stop over in Athens en-route to Kos in winter.
