Noted as one of the top beaches on Kefalonia, Emblisi has flat white pebbles and crystal clear waters.
The bay is crescent shaped and is an ideal spot for sunbathing, swimming and relaxation. The nearby village of Fiskardo has available parking if the beach is very busy during the summer months.
The natural beauty of this beach makes it a popular choice for visitors looking for a peaceful and quiet beach experience. It is surrounded by lush vegetation but unlike many other Kefalonia beaches there are no sunbeds and most people put a towel down in the flat rocks or on the pebbles. Of course, you can always bring your own chair.
Waters around the beach go deep quite quickly and are ideal for snorkelling but small children should always be supervised. There is one small beach bar where you can get snacks and drinks.
If you want a good meal after a day at this gorgeous beach go into Fiskardo which has a small port with yachts and stunning Venentian-style buildings.
