Folklore Museum Lardos

Dedicated to show how life used to be like in our village in earlier times. Discover our local culture as it used to be.

Here in a wonderful setting you can experience something of the old rural life of the locality and get to know the history.

When you visit you will be able to see the traditional costumes that people used to wear, you will have the opportunity to examine the agricultural tools that were in common use and the furnishings and decorations that were to be found in the houses of the local people long ago, along with the musical instruments with which they entertained themselves.

So when you visit our museum you will discover our local culture as it used to be and experience the traditions and history of our villages on the island of Rhodes.

The Folklore Museum is located about one kilometre outside of Lardos village on the road to Pefkos opposite the mini golf.

Be sure to visit when staying on Rhodes.
