From the shoreline you can see an unusual ship-shaped rock. Take the path running to the left and there are ancient rock carvings in the shape of baths. There are also some caves to explore. If you want to get away from crowds, this is a beautiful beach for a day trip.
Fourni Beach is on the southwest coast and is 3 kilometres from Monolithos Village where there are shops and tavernas.
Situated 58 km from Rhodes Airport and 76 kilometres from Rhodes Town, Fourni can be accessed by car or by walking, although the path to the beach is quite steep.
